Residence Villa Lidia

Fine.

We paid nearly €1,500 and came away really disappointed. We booked this villa because it had a pool, expecting to enjoy it after a day at the beach and relax on holiday. But it can only be used from 09:00 to 19:00, which made it feel pointless. If you're going to spend the day at the sea and then head to bed, you might as well rent somewhere without a pool. The rooms were tiny, with old mattresses and furniture and barely any comfort. Honestly, you'd be better off sleeping in the car. Getting the place cleaned in the morning costs another €40, which is ridiculous. The kitchen even had a FORNIC. Comfort was completely missing. I wouldn't recommend this “relaxation villa” at all, there was no relaxation here.

This is my third year returning to Villa Lidia, and I've had nothing but good experiences, despite some of the reviews I read beforehand. The apartments are on the small side, but they have what you need, including a broom and dustpan, dishwasher, cookware, sheets, and towels. Everything has been very clean and comfortable, and the pool is lovely. This year every apartment I've stayed in had a balcony. Since we're on the ground floor now, we also have a handy little courtyard. I always find holidays at Villa Lidia really relaxing.

We spent 21 days here and had a wonderfully restful stay. The rooms were clean, the pool was lovely, and everything was very close by. There was parking available around the Villa too.
