We’re staying in one of the premium cabins. The cabin is nice, the price is reasonable compared with other places, and the pool area is fine. But think carefully before booking. The noise is extreme. If you’re not a heavy sleeper, this place isn’t for you: planes land nearby, trains pass right behind the site, and nightclubs keep blasting music late into the night. It’s 4:07 AM as I write this, and it’s still going. The campsite can’t control noise coming from outside its grounds. We skipped half board, thankfully. The food option looked minimal and unimpressive, and I think it would have been disappointing. We’ve stayed north of Rimini before without these problems, except for trains, which are common in Italy. This location just isn’t it. I strongly recommend staying somewhere completely different.

The dog-friendly grounds and accommodation were very nice, and bringing our two dogs was important to us. There were bins everywhere and dog bags readily available. We also liked the separate dog pool and training area, though using the pool cost extra and wasn’t cheap. Activities around the grounds cost money too, and weren’t inexpensive. Cash wasn’t accepted there: we had to load money onto the wristband we were given and pay with that. We were seven people, two adults and three children, plus the dogs. Reception was generally good, but just one woman spoke German; the others spoke Italian and broken English. The rooms were mostly fine, though the mattresses were very thin. Food was a letdown, too monotonous for us, with the same things at breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. The entertainment was okay, nothing special. The evening program was decent, ranging from a children’s disco to a magic show. It was handy to step out of the complex and find the beach right there, along with a small supermarket and a restaurant. Riccione itself had plenty to explore, including mini-golf, an arcade, and small markets. We were quite satisfied overall, especially because the dogs could come with us.

The beach is just across the road, and the resort has a great pool area with plenty for kids to do. It’s well kept, family-friendly, and the mobile homes are high quality. Sentido has several of them at Del Sole resort, so it’s worth comparing offers. The paths could use resurfacing, either with a permeable material or asphalt. The gravel gets extremely dusty when dry and turns to mud and dirt when it rains. It then gets tracked into the pool area, onto the veranda, and into the house.

The pool was nice, although there weren’t enough loungers. The lifeguards did pick up towels when a spot had been left unattended for a while. Train and plane noise was very bearable and didn’t bother us. The house was clean, with working air conditioning, a roomy terrace, and comfortable beds. We could have used more dishes and pans. The entertainment was fun, though mainly in Italian.

There was a show for the children every evening, which was really great, and the kids also got a voucher on arrival for two free scoops of ice cream each. The ice cream was delicious. The resort itself is charming and very child-friendly, with a few shops nearby. We’d love to return next year. Our bungalow was lovely and very clean. We arrived around 10:00 AM and could check in an hour later. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. My children aren’t big eaters, but we always found something they’d eat. The only downside was the beach loungers: even with a 20% discount, five days cost €200. That was outrageous!
