Sound Suite

We had a wonderful stay, my husband, our six-month-old daughter, and me. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel is great for a family with children. The rooms are all similar, with a living room and mini-kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. They gave us a crib for free. It was a simple camping crib, but it was fine. Breakfast was good, with lots of cakes, pastries, yogurt, and everything needed to make a toastie. I also liked that no one knocked in the morning to make us leave while they cleaned the room. You’re on your own here, but that suited us. There was a broom and dustpan, but no sponge or dish soap for cooking at home. The hotel also offers strollers and high chairs. I’d say excellent!

Mr. Marco was so kind and welcoming, and we’d be happy to come back. We spent the first week of August here with our dog and had a wonderful stay. They kindly gave us the ground-floor “Vivaldi” apartment, which has plenty of space, is well kept, and opens onto a large garden with synthetic grass. The shared parking for the property, Hotel Fedora, and other buildings is close by. We could also stop right outside the entrance briefly to load and unload without any trouble.

Apartment 212 was roomy and thoughtfully laid out, with a good-sized bedroom, a very spacious bathroom, and TVs in both the living area and bedroom. The kitchenette had a stove, fridge, and dishwasher. Susanna, the friendly owner, explained that this used to be her parents’ hotel, which she has renovated into a colorful, modern aparthotel. The entrance feels welcoming, with modern designer furnishings and a piano. There’s no formal reception, and a few small tables sit outside. We had breakfast and rented bikes at Hotel Fedora, which Susanna also owns. The place went well beyond what I expected. Recommended!

There’s a mystery here. If you need an invoice, check that it has the right first and last name. A mistake when requesting it can leave you waiting half an hour while they issue an invoice with the wrong details, even though the names should have been registered automatically at arrival. Surely Hotel Fedora, attached to this “place,” knows how to issue one, or leave it out...
