The managers are friendly, and the food is very respectable. The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach, the center, and the station. For that price, you won’t find anything, not even a campsite. You do have to make allowances for the building’s shortcomings, though. Some things in the management need adjusting. Otherwise, it would be 10 stars.

I spent two nights at Estoril Hotel in July and had a good stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and it’s very conveniently close to the sea. The rooms could use better upkeep, but they have what you’d expect from a one-star hotel. The only problem I ran into was the shower. It wasn’t secured to the wall, so the hose fell down and I had to hold it the whole time to rinse off. It was really uncomfortable. That was my only negative.

Great value for the money. The welcome is super warm, everyone’s ready for a joke, and it feels like home. The food is plentiful and good quality, above all!

The staff are nice, but the rest leaves me with nothing to say. 😠
