The worst part of our one-night stay with a friend was the leak. It rained overnight, and we woke to water dripping from the ceiling onto us and into the electrical outlets. The wall was soaked. I told the night porter, who just said, “Let’s hope it stops raining,” then called it “a little leak” when I kept asking him to come see. He left us with the problem and we couldn’t sleep. Nobody even apologized. I understand leaks can happen, but I would have expected a room change, if possible, or at least an apology. Bring an umbrella if you stay here, especially if you like sleeping wet. The welcome wasn’t great either. On arrival, the woman seemed annoyed we were there and busy crocheting, so we felt in the way. The room was fairly large and average for cleanliness. There was a fan blowing air straight onto just one side of the bed, which is a strange setup. Hopefully only one person gets too hot.

We had a spacious, very clean room with a terrace, and the breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. The owners were courteous and attentive, helping make the stay feel safe and comfortable. The hotel is well away from traffic and not far from the sea, with good value for money. Worth considering for a holiday because of the owners’ professionalism. We stayed August 8-22.

The price felt fair for a two-star hotel, and the staff were welcoming, very friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean and roomy enough, though the bathroom was cramped and the shower flooded easily. Breakfast was average. I’d recommend it for a short stay on a budget.

I was a bit unsure at first about the hostel-style shower, basically a drain in the bathroom, but I ended up having a great stay. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful with cleaning and looking after the rooms and shared areas. They also gave recommendations for the beach and other places to visit. A really good experience, and I’d highly recommend staying here.
