From the balcony you can see the view. The rooms have a style that makes the hotel's long history clear, and I felt it deserved more than four stars. The owner dresses formally, which gives you a sense of how much he cares about the hotel's quality.

There was a concert near the hotel, and the air conditioning wasn't working. The place felt outdated throughout. The half-board meal at the restaurant was inexpensive, but not very good: the portions were large, though oily. There is a small room next to the hotel where you can park bicycles.

The location was just right, across from a park and only a short walk from several restaurants and Rieti's centre. The staff were so kind, and the hotel was lovely down to the last detail. We felt so good staying there that it's hard to put into words. Breakfast is included, and they make the best Caffe au Latte in town. We absolutely loved the experience and would definitely return.

Only one of our rooms was ready when we arrived. We had booked online, but were first greeted quite unfriendly and told everything was full; eventually the staff realized we had a reservation. The other room was supposed to take "10" minutes, but after paying I was left alone in the lobby for 40 minutes.

The location was good and the view was nice. It was cozy and clean, and the staff were friendly but discreet. They treated us well throughout.
