Hotel Adria Mare

The location really is handy, with everything close by. That was the one thing I liked. The service was poor, and the staff didn't seem interested in helping. Breakfast was all overly sweet food, with little variety and no healthier choices. Our towels weren't clean, which I wouldn't expect at any hotel. For the price, I expected basic cleanliness and decent service, but neither was there. I wouldn't come back, even for the location.

The rooms were clean, and the high street is nearby. We chose this place through a well-known booking site mainly because it's close to the seaside. The staff are friendly, and it seems like a nice room for somewhere to rest. I'd book without a meal package.

The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had been renovated. No hairdryer in the room, though. Staff could be pretty annoying with groups, especially around breakfast, but they were helpful in general. A decent hotel, not amazing, but not a disaster either.

We had to spend 40 minutes looking for parking because there wasn't any, despite Booking saying parking was available. At 2AM, after that, the receptionist couldn't work the card machine and told us to go find an ATM and bring cash. The night receptionist didn't speak a word of English, which is disgraceful for a hotel. The air conditioner sits right over your head, so sleeping properly was difficult. During our three-day stay, they left us almost no toilet paper. Breakfast was worse still: trays emptied quickly and weren't refilled, even with an hour and a half left. This was the worst hotel I've stayed in. Avoid it if you want a nice vacation.
