Hotel Derby

Everything was great here: the people, rooms, services, food, drinks, and beach. Excellent hotel. 👍

We were really satisfied, and the beds were comfortable. The food was delicious, and I loved being able to choose what I wanted and have it served that way. At hotel Derby, the stay was pleasant, the beach is across the road, and the staff were friendly and willing to help whenever we needed it.

The staff are really kind and friendly, and the food is great. It’s a fantastic hotel in beautiful Rimini, right next to the beach. I heartily recommend it to everyone.

This was my first time in Rimini. I wanted a 4-star hotel near the beach and chose Hotel Derby after reading lots of comments, but I don’t think it measures up to 4 stars. I’d put it at 2-3 stars. The good parts: the beach is within walking distance, and there’s also a dog beach nearby if you bring your dog. Breakfast and staff service were fine. The food street just below the hotel makes it easy to find restaurants, a convenience store, and shopping. The disappointments: the hotel is only slightly bigger than a normal house. The pool is tiny, maybe enough for 4-5 guests, and faces the street. There’s no sauna or spa. The rooms are small, and the balcony looks straight at the neighbours’ balcony, as well as the balconies of the opposite Ancona hotel. The double bed is two twin beds pushed together. The renovation looks old, like it goes back to the 80s. Cleaning by the maid was fine, but coffee and tea weren’t provided daily. I stayed 5 days and had to get them from the lobby myself each day. The Wi-Fi is weak. For example, photos and videos wouldn’t load on fb, though text would, and Google Maps took atleoast 5 minute to open. The stronger Wi-Fi spot is in the lobby.
