The rooms still need some renovation, but the cleanliness is impeccable, and so is the expertise of the person in charge of managing them. From booking onward, the welcome is excellent. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. When I ran into an unexpected problem, everyone was cooperative and understanding. They’re good with children too. There’s a small play area, a foosball table, board games, and a few other spaces for younger guests.

We booked for a week, but the room was so awful that we lasted one night and ran away. It didn’t have the beds we’d reserved. The sheets and towels were dirty, there was dust everywhere, the bathrooms were disgusting, and the tiny rooms had broken, inadequate furniture. When we needed hot water, there wasn’t any. Every time, I had to go downstairs and report it. We booked one hotel and ended up in another. At one point we asked for plain pasta and were served pasta that was clearly red at first, then washed. The tomato was still inside the penne. They didn’t check for allergies either. I work in this sector, and I really wonder whether they have HACCP training or the necessary qualifications. The booking and welcome were all handled at "La Carlona." Inside the hotel it says "Barone," while outside it says "Fatima," and some rooms seem to be in one hotel and some in another. There was still more to complain about after just one night. P.S. Absolutely avoid it. I read all the negative reviews about the hotel, and there was nothing wrong with them.

The staff looked after us so well during our first week of September. I was there with my three children, and everything from the welcome and cleanliness to the food was better than we expected. Thank you all for such a lovely week.
