A nice hotel overall, and my small room was very clean. The staff were welcoming too. Breakfast let it down: no fruit, pastries that didn’t seem very fresh, and coffee well below the usual Italian standard.

The air conditioning didn’t work, so I called reception several times to ask them to fix it. They were rude about it, told us to go sleep out on the street if it was too hot, then hung up. They also said every room was full, even though several rooms were open. Very disappointing.

The reception staff were super friendly, and I really liked the seafood dishes they served in the evenings. You can borrow a bike for free to explore Rimini old town. There’s a small exercise area on the fifth floor, enough to do a few things, and they also have a jacuzzi bath for two. At checkout, remember there’s a tourist tax to pay. Beach beds are 18 euros a day, though you can negotiate them down to 10-15 euros for a few hours.
