Hotel Alevon - Rimini

The service was warm and helpful, but the food was hit or miss. Breakfast and dinner could be excellent one time and terrible the next. Some food was reused, portions could be plentiful or not enough for everyone, and vegetables, for example, were gone within ten minutes of opening. I wouldn't recommend the hard-boiled eggs. The mixed fried fish and hamburger were among the bad meals. There's room for improvement. The rooms are basic and very cramped. For a summer destination, a mini-fridge really should be included. Our door handle was broken, and staff clearly knew about it, but nobody came to fix it during our four days. The beach deal was also unclear, and in any case only saved a few euros.

We spent nine days at this hotel on a package holiday, and my friend and I came away disappointed. The food was very poor: portions were tiny, dishes arrived lukewarm and badly seasoned, and the side bread was rock hard. Several times we had stomach cramps and nausea. We also went several days without towels. Even after asking repeatedly, they weren't replenished. The hotel is clearly dated and not particularly attractive, especially the dining room. It was extremely cold and uncomfortable in there, and all the curtains were closed, so there was no natural daylight. All in all, very disappointing and not recommended.

We've stayed here two years in a row, and I'm very satisfied. Our two-room suite had enough space for two adults and two children, and it had everything we needed. The room is cleaned every day. This year they added a children's room, which makes things a little easier for parents. Special thanks for that 🙂 The food is delicious, and they made pasta without sauce for the children when we asked. I also want to apologize because I accidentally took the key to room 114. We went as part of a school trip. The hotel's location is good, right on the beach, with lots of shops an easy walk away. The food wasn't as awful as some reviews had led us to expect, though it came close: it was unsalted, the tomatoes were moldy, and the bread rolls were rock hard every day. The rest was edible, but anyone picky about food should probably steer clear. If you have a bit more to spend and want a nice hotel, I'd look elsewhere.
