The noise was the worst part. People kept slamming doors, screaming, and shouting, and the railway is practically in the back yard. The room was incredibly small with a hard bed, and although there was a TV, there was no remote, so it was unusable. I also had to pay extra for air conditioning. There’s a huge dog running freely in the kitchen while they cook. The elevator and energy were out for a couple of hours during maintenance, too. I booked two weeks, but only needed somewhere to sleep and relax. At first the owner didn’t want to refund anything because I’d booked through Booking at a “special” rate, and Booking was giving me trouble as well. I was furious. I offered to pay for three days even though I’d stayed just one night. After a lot of huffing and arguing, I got that sorted without calling the police. I’ll never recommend this place to anyone. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Vote: minus 3.

I spent three days here with the Caronno football team for a tournament and had a very good time. The bathroom was a little small, but the hotel owner was very kind and ready to help with anything. Lunch and dinner were truly excellent 👏👏👏👏

The food was delicious, with plenty of choices. Breakfast had handmade brioches, tarts, and plum cakes, plus bread and various cured meats for anyone who prefers savory food. There’s also a play area for children. The people, Rosario, Nadia, Francesca, and the others, were really kind, and Adele the dog is very cute. I stayed five days at LEONARDA Hotel with my friend Angelo. Our room was small but had everything we needed, including blinds and curtains. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re unlucky, your room will face the train tracks. Hi, greetings from Matteo ☺️

It’s a historic building that’s kept its character, and the place was clean with very friendly staff. The windows are double-glazed, so you don’t hear the train, and there’s air conditioning. We had fish and meat options at every meal throughout our stay, plus an excellent vegetable buffet at lunch and dinner. Breakfast came with a croissant and both sweet and savory buffet items. A very good experience, highly recommended.

The food itself deserves a 7, and they’ll give you all the water you want at any hour. The hotel is just steps from Viale Regina Margherita, where shops stay open around the clock. We didn’t pay much less than we would have at a three-star place, and came because friends recommended it. Mr. Rosario and Mr. Carlo welcomed us warmly, and I thank them for that. Still, I’d suggest more staff, and perhaps more courteous ones. It’s a dated guesthouse that needs renovation, with small rooms and bathrooms. There’s no shower tray, just a drain by the toilet, so only one person can use the shower at a time. No bidet either, only a hand shower beside the toilet. It’s family run, but there was hardly any staff, and parking was practically nonexistent. The buffets were sparse and often not enough for everyone. The first diners, mostly elderly people who had been waiting by the dining room for an hour, managed to eat, while those of us returning from the beach around 12:45 found little or nothing. There was loads of salad, tomatoes, and cucumbers, but I’m on vacation, not on a diet. I asked them to refill the buffet since only salad was left and was told everything was gone, even though I was asking about tuna and beans or tuna flavored potatoes. I skipped the buffet three times because there wasn’t enough food. Breakfast was a croissant per person at the table, biscuits, yogurt, a few cured meats, packaged cakes, jams, and spreads. Soft drinks and coffee cost extra, as did air conditioning at €5 a day, though they waived that charge because of the railway close by, which runs at all hours.
