Milton Rimini Hotel

The sea view from our balcony was a lovely bonus, and the room was kept clean and made up each day with fresh bedding. Staff were kind, quick to respond, and polite. Breakfast tasted good, though the same options every day got repetitive over a longer stay. The bathroom needs attention: the shower door wouldn’t close properly, so water spilled onto the floor and could be a slipping risk, especially for anyone with leg or mobility issues. Noise from nearby parties carried into our room until morning, so light sleepers may want earplugs. The hotel is centrally located and close to the beach.

We slept well and enjoyed the pool, and the staff were cheerful and polite throughout. At breakfast they were glad to suggest things to do in Rimini. The restaurant food was good, too. There wasn’t a vegetarian or vegan main on the menu, which felt outdated to me, but they kindly made me a superb veggie pasta at the last minute. A few room issues stood out: the shower door screw was loose, the bathroom ceiling had damp marks, and its extractor fan didn’t work. The AC seemed very weak, maybe not working at all, though luckily it wasn’t very hot outside. The fridge heated the room by several degrees, like a radiator, and there weren’t enough tea and coffee sachets. Our view was of a construction site. The pool sometimes ran short of deck chairs. We had a nice stay, but some improvements are needed.

The room was spotless, the bed really comfortable, and the customer service excellent. I also enjoyed the buffet breakfast and sea view from my balcony. The spa is small but private, and most days I had it to myself. Boomerang nearby played horrible music until the early hours, which was the only bad part of my stay. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but bear it in mind if you need quiet at night. Bring earplugs!

The walls are thin enough that I could hear the neighbor snoring, which was the one downside. Otherwise, the rooms were clean, the beds soft and comfortable, and the interior design was lovely. There’s free wifi, polite staff, and fresh lemonade for guests at the entrance during the day. Breakfast is nice on a cozy terrace, the balconies look out to sea, and the beach is right across the street.
