Hotel Mon Pays

I stayed three days for the TTG fair in Rimini. It’s peaceful despite being in the city center, away from the main noisy road, and the hotel is well placed. Staff were polite, cheerful, and helpful. The rooms were clean and a good size, though there were no power sockets by the bed. For the price, it’s excellent value. I’d recommend it 😎

The rooms are spacious, the location is excellent, and the staff were really helpful. We had to check out early, and the night shift had even prepared breakfast for us before the dining room opened. I can definitely recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was disappointing: scrambled eggs one morning, fried eggs on the other two. For the price, we could have found somewhere much better, and this place should cost half as much. The hotel and rooms are very old, and ours looked nothing like the photos. It was tiny, with nowhere to put our things beyond a small clothes wardrobe. The beds were horribly small and uncomfortable, and one mattress had sunk in completely. The floor tiles were always cold. Heating came from an old air conditioner that rattled at night if we wanted warmth, but if we turned it down to avoid the noise, we froze. The shower cubicle was so cramped you couldn’t turn around, and the water at both the shower and sink swung between scalding hot and freezing.

We’ll be back next year, we can’t wait. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the owners are wonderful, always smiling and making us feel at home and looked after. It’s right by the sea, has a pool, and is one of the few places that’s truly pet-friendly. We bring our cat and aren’t charged extra. We coordinate with housekeeping so they can clean the room, and they’re always friendly. Highly recommended.
