Hotel Staccoli

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. When I booked, I was told the room would have air conditioning and a window in the bathroom; however, the room I received was very small, and the bathroom only had a dusty fan. I found visible mold on many of the tiles, and clumps of mold even inside the closet. After requesting a change, I was assigned a second room with a very small window, but no bidet or showerhead. This room was the same as a review from a few years ago, and I can confirm that the problems reported then were still present. I also found widespread mold on an entire wall near the bed and in various areas of the bathroom. Near the tiny bathroom window, which overlooked the balcony of the next room (which is unacceptable and dangerous), the wall was gray with mold. The wooden furniture appeared very worn, and the canvas painting was covered in dust. The air conditioning was off; in the first room, even the remote control was missing. The bathroom had a very strong sewer smell, so nauseating that it made it difficult for me to stay in the room. I had requested a further transfer and was told not to unpack my bags because the hotel would try to move me to a room with a shower after a week. This promise, after weeks, was not kept, and when I asked for clarification, I was treated as if it had never been made. During my stay, I smelled a very strong odor of smoke, even though the hotel is designated as non-smoking. The noise was also constant: both from the staff, who spoke very loudly, even about their guests, and from the guests, who were extremely disruptive at all hours, and from outside the hotel, where the noise of trains and other activities was extremely loud, likely due to the hotel's lack of soundproofing. The sheets in my room were torn and stained, and the mattress was so hard it made sleep almost impossible. The mirror was poorly cleaned, the TV remote was filthy, and hair was everywhere. Although the hotel's exterior has been renovated, the interior rooms remain outdated. Overall, between mold, strong odors, constant noise, and services that didn't match those stated in the reservation, my stay was extremely problematic.

A friend and I stayed at the hotel for three nights. What I appreciated most was its location near the beach, which made it very convenient. It's a bit far from the town center, but walking along the coastal road makes the journey very manageable. The area is very quiet and full of restaurants nearby. I also wanted to highlight the daily cleaning service and the fact that the room had air conditioning, spacious balconies, and comfortable beds. Last but not least, the owners were incredibly kind and attentive. Excellent value for money.

Two years ago, we stayed at Hotel Staccoli with a group of dancers from a Romanian folk ensemble. We met the owners: Michelle and Lucia, extraordinary people, always smiling, extremely kind, and attentive to every detail. Our stay at Hotel Staccoli was pleasant. The property is well-kept, clean, and conveniently located in a quiet area, just a short walk from the beaches and the seafront, close to restaurants and shops. Above all, it is well-run by Michelle and her wife, Lucia, who, with their kindness and extreme availability, were able to satisfy all our requests, whether it was about the type of food, lunch or dinner times (since the group had a time slot for the international folklore festival), or any other needs. They recommended what we could visit there. They make their guests feel at home. The rooms and bathrooms are equipped with all amenities: air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, shower, bidet, etc. The food was very good and tasty. The breakfast was very rich and varied. They were always attentive if anything was missing. We particularly appreciated the homemade desserts... delicious. It was a point of reference for a possible return to Rimini. As I said, the real strength is the owners, who welcomed us with a smile and made us feel at home from the first moment. We felt the passion with which they run the hotel. So we decided to return this year for a holiday with family and friends, and we're here at the Hotel Staccoli for a week. An experience we heartily recommend. We decided to join our daughter and her team for the UISP volleyball championships, and we spent three days there. The owners put their heart and soul into it, being originally from Naples, so how could it be otherwise? The rooms were clean and equipped with everything you need. The food was very good and tasty. We enjoyed, among other dishes, an excellent potato gateau, a delicious meatloaf, and Sorrento-style gnocchi. The generous breakfast catered to every palate, both sweet and savory. The hotel is located a short walk from the beaches and the seafront, close to restaurants and shops. I recommend it to both families and friends.
