Hotel Villa Luigia

The lift is really small, and the only other way up is the stairs, so this probably isn’t a good choice for people with a disability. Still, I had a great time here and would definitely recommend it for a visit to Rimini. The room was better than any I’ve had at another hotel, the breakfast was really good, and the maids were lovely. The owners make you feel welcome, like an actual guest. I’ll definitely come back next summer!

After four days, we decided to leave, even though we knew we’d lose money. We didn’t feel comfortable staying there, and the hotel kept the full payment for all seven nights. The room itself was clean and the location was good, but the way we were treated and the room we got ruined our vacation. We had booked a Deluxe double room through the hotel’s website, choosing it based on the photos there and on booking.com. What we received was a standard double room, matching the standard-room pictures on both sites. When I went downstairs, tired after the journey and disappointed, the older woman at reception yelled at me and said I was wrong. She spoke in German, which I couldn’t understand. She came up with me to the first-floor room and continued speaking in a rude tone, still without us understanding what she was saying. We had no way to communicate and no support, since we hadn’t booked through booking.com. We arrived on Tuesday at around 9 pm and checked in, but the woman, probably the owner, just handed us the keys. She gave no details about breakfast times or the Wi-Fi password, and the welcome was poor. It was a mix of Italian, German, and English, and the communication problem made everything worse. I’m surprised this hotel, and this woman, are in the hospitality business. Customer service at its worst.

The staff made us feel welcome and really looked after my two babies. It’s a lovely family hotel, with very clean rooms and a nice breakfast.

A small family hotel, handy for both the beach and the city center. The rooms were clean and tidy, and breakfast had a good range and was good quality. The staff were especially friendly, always smiling and making us feel welcome. I’d gladly stay again.
