Hotel Impero

We spent most of our time outside, so our small room and slightly old furniture weren't a big deal, though at least our room was small. Breakfast was quite good, with several kinds of bakery, fruit, juices, hot drinks, cheese, salami, vegetables and more. The hotel is perfectly located and the staff are extremely sweet.

I tried to reserve seven nights in August this year, making two bookings for different dates because I wasn't sure when I could take vacation time. The morning after each reservation, exactly at 10:00, €48.25 was blocked on my card, €96.50 altogether. It felt as if the owner or owners didn't trust me to pay, and having that much held for five months just isn't right. I tried email and phone but got no reply. I opened a case through a booking platform, and this was the response they sent to the platform, not directly to me, of course: "Preauthorization returns by itself. that the lady does not book in our facility anymore, I do not like threats and her reservations will all be cancelled!"

The hotel has a heart and soul. Some maintenance is needed, but the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and there was air conditioning and a mini fridge. The toilet flushed and the shower had warm water, what more could you ask for? Breakfast was lovely, with fruit, home baked tarts and amazing coffees. Service always came with a smile. It's very close to the beach and surrounded by different restaurants. We had a lovely holiday and really have nothing to complain about.

Breakfast had a great selection, and the staff were friendly and polite. The hotel was very clean throughout, with air conditioning in the room, and it's in a great location. Highly recommend!
