Hotel VILLA DEL PRATO

A good place to stay in Italy.

All good.

My boyfriend, our two dogs, and I had a lovely stay, and the price meant we could enjoy a hotel holiday without spending much. They were among the few places willing to accept a 45kg dog and a 20kg dog, and I’m so grateful for that. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and happy to answer questions. It’s a casual, family-run place on a quiet street just off Rimini’s main drag. The sea is literally across the street. Rooms are standard and have the essentials, including fans, and are cleaned regularly. The bathrooms are older but functional. The food is good, with particular care for guests with food allergies, and it’s good value for money. I’d recommend it to people who aren’t too picky. If you are, you might prefer to spend more on a five-star hotel.

We had a wonderful four-day stay in the first week of August 2021. The rooms were simple, but we felt at home because the staff were so kind. We got to know the owner, Ludovica, and Lucia from the kitchen. They were warm and friendly, and I really valued that sincerity. We laughed, joked, and talked about life. The food and wine were delicious, and everything was very affordable. My mother has several food allergies, so they prepared everything in a way she could eat without any problem. The sea is just a stone’s throw away. We’ll come again as soon as we can. Best wishes from German-speaking Switzerland.
