Residence Perla

I've been to Rimini before, but this was my first stay here and I loved it. The rooms were clean, the location was great and very close to the sea, and the staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. I'd gladly come back and recommend it to my friends.

The terrace offered very little privacy, the air conditioning smelled musty, and the kitchen and its equipment were worn out. There were bars on the windows, and even the Booking listing's three-star rating seemed off: the building's third star had actually been removed. What we got also didn't match what we booked on Booking.com. Instead of two double beds and one standard bed, there were two single beds pushed together, a sofa bed, and a small folding bed. We raised the problem right away, but staff refused to sort it out. The photos and description were misleading. A big disappointment, and I'm filing an official complaint. I don't recommend it.

Everything you need for cooking is in the apartments, and the bedrooms are spacious with linens and bathrooms. There's air conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi. A good setup for a relaxed seaside holiday, just steps from the sea with all amenities nearby.

It's a welcoming, clean place, well renovated and close to the sea. But the staff could be much more attentive to guests. They can be finicky and are willing to take very high deposits on top of prepaying for the apartments, yet they aren't around to help when problems come up. Most of the time, I'd say they're absent from the property. It needs to improve a lot before I'd recommend it.
