Hotel Kennedy

We spent a week in lovely Rimini after an Italian friend suggested Kennedy Hotel. Margherita and her family went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and the staff were absolutely amazing. It had a welcoming, family-run feel, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rimini. Our room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. The homemade food at breakfast and lunchtime was delicious. The location’s brilliant too, just a short walk from the beach, with plenty of cafes and bars nearby. We had a great time and will definitely return. Thank you, Margherita and family, for making our visit so special!

The staff were very helpful, and the location was great, close to both the beach and city center. Cigarette smoke was noticeable all day and night, though, and breakfast was a bit lacking. Still, for the value for money we paid, I’d go again.

I lost the money I’d paid for my San Marino excursion and never got to visit because of the hotel’s mistake. I’d booked and paid for two nights, August 17-19. On August 18, just as I was leaving for the excursion, which was already paid for, the receptionist called and told me to leave because her computer showed only one night. After a lot of calls, they found the hotel had confused me with another guest who had the same name. I’d shown proof of the two-night booking and payment, but they still put me in danger and threatened me. They didn’t apologize, and the way they handled it showed a lack of education and professionalism. If a guest provides proof they paid for two nights, the hotel should investigate without involving them, especially when the mix-up comes from the hotel confusing names. What rating can I give a place that cost me my excursion and my chance to see San Marino? Zero.

The furniture is a little old-fashioned, and there are only a few parking spaces. Even so, this is a cozy, good-value budget hotel with free Wi-Fi, working air conditioning, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Breakfast was a tasty continental spread with fresh fruit, cereals, croissants, cakes, and pies. The restaurant also has an affordable fixed-price menu. It’s very conveniently located near the sea and in central Rimini, and a nearby beach offers discounts to hotel guests.
