Park Hotel Rimini

I come back to this hotel whenever I’m in Rimini and haven’t had a problem yet, so I’m not sure what the negative reviews are about. The location is terrific, 20 meters from the beach and 200 meters from the main square’s best bars and restaurants. Rooms are clean and spacious, each with a balcony. Breakfast is pretty good, and there’s an outdoor pool, which isn’t common in Rimini. Parking is available for a very reasonable fee.

The breakfast spread had plenty to choose from, but everything tasted surprisingly bland, so it was mediocre at best. The pool area was attractive and well kept. Our room was simple but clean, a decent size, and looked out to sea. It was also fairly quiet at night. The hotel sits right by the beach and a bus stop.

For over 100 euros a night as a solo guest, I expected a much better room, even though I was told it had recently been refurbished. The fittings and bathroom were old, and the bed was low and uncomfortable, with a thin mattress. Breakfast had variety, but the cold cuts, cheese, eggs, and bread were very low quality. The staff weren’t very pleasant either, especially when I asked for a taxi. They acted as if booking one in Rimini was impossible. I really can’t recommend it.

The location is fantastic, with nice views and the center very close by. Breakfast was okay, and the service there was good. But for a hotel considered four-star, the service and facilities didn’t feel up to that level, with an old bed and toilets. The listing says animals are accepted, but on arrival we were told dogs over 15kg aren’t allowed. That’s important information they should put online. The balcony was really dirty, with so much sand and dust that I couldn’t sit in a chair.
