Hotel Annetta

We loved it so much that our two-night stay turned into three. The room was really comfortable, and having a balcony was a lovely bonus. The whole place felt welcoming, from the breakfast and bar areas to the staff, who were all great. The beach is only a short walk away, and the train station is about 20 minutes away.

The staff were lovely and clearly doing their best, and the price was good. Still, we didn't feel comfortable in our third-floor room. It seemed only partly renovated: the towels were torn, there was dirt on the walls, and the bathroom had a new floor but old hangers and a shower. It was somewhat noisy because of the train, though not at night, and parking was very hard to find.

The shower barely had any water pressure, and room cleaning was spaced three days apart. Worse, the cleaner broke a beer bottle and spilled it on the bed. Breakfast was dull too. It was meant to run from 8 to 10am, but when we came down at 9:30am, the waiter said only muesli was left. I can't recommend this hotel. Another 3 star place might well offer much better service.

The staff were friendly and professional, but the hotel itself is in poor condition. The air conditioning was broken, the toilet seat wasn't fixed to the toilet, and the shower looked patched up and shabby. For what little it offers, the price is too high. I expected a lot better for the money.
