Hotel Radar

The sea was visible from our window, though only a little. Other rooms on the sea side have a view of a beautiful sunrise 🌅. The hotel is three minutes from the sea, beside a good restaurant and all the shops you need. There’s a veranda relaxation area where you can have coffee, and I want to thank the hotel for the delicious coffee and perfect Operol spritzer. The room was always clean, and I’m grateful to the cleaning staff for that. It had a TV and a safe, but no refrigerator, which was one small downside. As far as I know, you can get one for an extra charge, though I think the hotel may eventually add a mini fridge to every room 😉😊. Thank you for the hospitality, the warm attention to guests, and the cleanliness both in our room and throughout the hotel. The reception administrators were so kind, positive, and smiley ☺️, especially Administrator Luciano, who was always cheerful. I recommend the Radar hotel and think we’ll see each other again. The toilet seat was broken, and water leaked down from the ceiling. I reported it to reception, but they didn’t care. The rooms were disgusting and not clean at all, and the receptionist was so rude and impolite. The service was terrible. This was the most horrible hotel ever. I don’t recommend it to anyone and will never come back.

For 32 EUR a night, this was still a pretty good deal, and it was one of the cheapest options I found for two consecutive nights in October as a solo traveller. The staff were nice, and the room was comfortable. It did feel a bit humid and cold because it was raining outside. A mini-fridge would be a nice addition. The shower had 2 in 1 gel, which was better than nothing, but proper body gel and shampoo would be preferable. Being near the beach might be nice in summer, though after a day of walking in October it felt a little far from the centre.

I spent two nights here and had a pleasant stay overall. The location is fantastic, with lots of restaurants and bars around, and the friendly, accommodating receptionists added a warm touch. My room was impeccably clean and comfortable. The nearby bar played live music late into the evening, which could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper or want a quiet night. Parking was my biggest concern: before booking, all the information said was “parking available.” I only found out after confirming that it cost 15€ per day. The space was extremely cramped and could only fit small cars, so it didn’t work for larger vehicles. With clearer parking information and space for more vehicle sizes, the hotel could improve its appeal.
