The rooms were very basic, and the way the owner handled things made the stay much worse. There seemed to be poor communication between him and the service desk staff. Our group of eight was told around 2 a.m. that we could use the barbecue if we started at 6, so we bought more than €90 worth of meat and other supplies. When we were ready, the owner changed his mind and said no barbecue. We had to go looking for somewhere public in the middle of nowhere, without cooking tools or anything. It would have been his right to refuse, but we wish he’d told us clearly earlier or offered an alternative instead of leaving us with expensive meat, nowhere to cook it, and no way to keep it cool. There was also a €50 deduction from the cash deposit over a minor incident. The owner shouted at a member of our group who wasn’t involved. In his reply, he said we sent the wrong person, but we hadn’t been asked to send anyone involved. He just appeared at our door and said, “Reception, now.” When our friend came down, the owner shouted and wouldn’t listen as he explained he knew nothing about the incident. We could have brought the two people responsible and had them apologize, but the owner got angrier and deducted the money instead.

We left for another hotel because the place didn’t feel safe. The host acted aggressively and made threats, including toward young children. He also said he’d call the police over things we hadn’t done. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Warning, we had to leave days early because the owner got so angry. He tried to charge us for something that was already broken and threatened to call the police on young children. Definitely wouldn’t stay here.

The area was decent, but I can’t recommend the place. The host was rude, angry, and threatening, and seemed determined to get extra money from us for nothing.
