Villa Margherita Rimini

I'd recommend this place to anyone with a family.

The apartment had plenty of room for our six people across three rooms, and the bus connections were handy. But it was about 5 km from the center, so walking there wasn't really possible. The location is at the far end of Miramare, with little behind the complex except abandoned buildings. There were also many prostitutes right outside, and some tried to follow us. The free beach entrance felt uncomfortable in the evening because of the people around. I wouldn't suggest this area for families with young children. We waited more than three hours to get into the apartment after arriving around 3 PM because the staff said it needed cleaning. I wiped the stove myself and the cloth came away black; the pans were greasy too, so we washed them. Reception was basically absent. The beds were okay, though a little squeaky, and the shower door could get stuck with an ordinary push. The air conditioner leaked, so we kept a rag on the floor. The fridge was faulty from the start and wasn't replaced until three days later, in mid-August. For two days we had warm food and drinks. On the third day, a kind security guard offered to keep our things in his fridge downstairs, which later became ours, but going up and down for even a bottle of water was a nuisance. We were also asked to defrost it, though it was ready to use when we arrived. A dishwasher was listed on the website but wasn't there. The washing machine was shared by the whole residence, so I'd rather wash clothes by hand with soap.

We’re a company from Bolzano and rented three apartments again this June. We’ve always had a really good stay: it’s peaceful, clean, and the people are friendly. Thanks to Salvo for being so available.
