The location in town was nice, and they let me book on the day, but I wouldn’t return. The hotel felt run down inside and out. My room was old, dusty and poorly cleaned. The carpet was dirty, so I had to ask for it to be vacuumed when I arrived. There was mold in the bathroom, several bulbs didn’t work, one of the two outlets was burnt out, and the old furniture didn’t look clean. Parking was difficult, too. The morning staff weren’t kind. I wasn’t feeling well and asked politely whether I could check out an hour late. She pointed to the bill and said I had to pay what I owed for the one night. I wouldn’t have minded paying extra for a late checkout. They were clearly talking about me in Italian and German, so I just left. I didn’t feel welcome, and the condition and service are why I wouldn’t come back.

Roberto is the best, and the service is top-notch! It’s a beautiful, authentic castle surrounded by mountains, with a magnificent 180-degree view from every window. The interior really makes you feel like you’ve stepped into the Middle Ages.

Breakfast is basic, but it does the job. The owner is kind and helpful, and the rooms have all the essentials. The interior design is unique and has an artistic touch. There’s parking on site, and it’s good value for money. The Dolomites are an hour away by car and can also be reached by public transport. Great for families, highly recommend!

We only stayed one night on the way to our holiday destination, but we’ve marked this charming little hotel as a place to visit again. It’s in a 13th-century building, and the historical style works really well without sacrificing comfort. The rooms were clean and comfortable, there was free WiFi, and breakfast was good with a reasonable amount of variety.

The breakfast was very good, the hotel was reasonably priced, and it’s near the crossing of two cycling routes. But the place felt a bit run down. The armchair was old-fashioned and unfolded into a bed, the bathtub drained poorly, and the sink faucet leaked slightly. One of the two twin mattresses wasn’t level at all, apparently because the wooden frame underneath was broken in the middle. My husband kindly switched places with me since I have cervical problems. We were charged for four beers we hadn’t ordered, but got reimbursed. The parking garage also doesn’t have enough spaces for all the guests, so arrive early.
