Pension Pfeiferhof

For a 3-star hotel, the views across the whole valley are stunning. The rooms are modern, spacious, and spotless, with very large comfortable bathrooms and mattresses that are genuinely good to sleep on. The staff are kind and ready to help with any need. There’s an incredible variety of food, and both breakfast and dinner feel 5-star in quality, with refined dishes and portions that are adequate without being overly generous. The prices are very good. Definitely recommended, and I’d return!

The spa was a real highlight, with four saunas, a nice relaxation room, and a place to step outside and cool off. It was all clean, cared for, and thoughtfully arranged, and the views of the surrounding countryside were lovely. Our room was cleaned every day, and the breakfast buffet had a huge selection of fresh, tasty food. We stayed three nights at Hotel Pfeiferhof in Meransen and felt at ease from the moment we arrived, thanks to such a warm, personal welcome. We booked half-board and were very happy with it. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious, with generous portions that left us full and happy. We wholeheartedly recommend the Pfeiferhof and will definitely be back. Sergej & Elena

The Pfeiferhof is clean, well looked after, and very family-friendly. We felt welcome and cared for right away. The food is especially good, easily comparable to a 4-star hotel, with creative, high-quality dishes prepared with real care. The owner cooks himself, and you can taste it in every dish. We’d love to return and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We were treated to something new from Alexander's kitchen every evening, and the food was outstanding. Verena and the whole team were friendly, attentive, and full of useful tips for excursions and hikes. The hotel is about a 3-minute drive from the gondola for the Gitschberg Jochtal ski area, with fantastic views of the Dolomites and the Puster Valley. Inside, everything is newly renovated and modern while still feeling cozy. The rooms are beautiful, with contemporary bathrooms, and the spacious wellness area stands out, especially the relaxation room's panoramic window. A 100% recommendation.
