The lakes nearby are spectacular and only a short walk away. After exploring them, the pool was just what I needed in the heat wave, and the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was generous, and the rooms were great, with air conditioning and everything else I needed. This was the highlight of my Italian summer lakes holiday.

The pool visit went well. The staff were helpful and brought what we needed for a warm afternoon in the sun, including wine, cocktails, and some music. There were quite a few apes, but they weren't a bother. The sun lounger cost 6€, and the mandatory swimming cap was 3.

There are two volcanic lakes, 150mt away, set in an unpolluted forest. The restaurant serves amazing homemade Lucanian recipes, and they also offer helpful advice for trips and activities. Add the high quality, kindness, and helpfulness, and it's a little precious stone in the mount Vulture crown.
