La Dimora del Brigante

The owner is basically a roommate presenting the place as a B&B, and there's nothing B&B-like about it. The shared bathroom comes with annoying noise for anyone who uses it, and you can hear everything. Dirt everywhere, cobwebs on the ceiling, and no real service. Breakfast was discount-store croissants and milk in cartons that couldn't be heated. Absolutely disgusting. I can document all of this. Don't go there.

I couldn't stay in that room. The basement was filthy, shabby, and freezing, and the place felt spooky. I had paid in advance, which was a mistake, and when I asked for at least half back, he wouldn't even agree to that. I had to leave without using the room, where even taking a shower meant sharing the bathroom with other people. Don't trust this place, it's an impostor that shows things it doesn't actually have. Shame on him. I think I'll go to the authorities.

We were lucky to stay just one night. He was very kind about arranging a place with a private bathroom, but the TV didn't work and the bathroom was run-down with no bidet. There was no bedside table or lamp, so the light had to stay on all night for the baby. Then he asked for another 15 euros for sheets and towels. A B&B should provide what you need. What a shame, the city deserves better.

A little corner of paradise, with clean rooms and an excellent bed. They were very accommodating, and the services provided were excellent. I'd definitely recommend it.
