The large apartment has a pleasant shared kitchen where you can make all your meals. Its biggest room is probably the nicest, with two large terraces, one looking towards Mount Etna and the other out to the sea as far as Taormina. It's in a 1970s apartment building, on the third floor, with a slightly vintage elevator. The Circumetnea train station is nearby, as is Giarre station. A short downhill walk takes you to the seafront, either toward the beach at Fondachello or rightward on a lovely stroll to the Porticciolo. The beach is a bit of a walk. Great value for money, and ideal for a seaside stay of several days.

Breakfast was included, with packaged products in both the room and the self-catering kitchen. We stayed one night, and the room with its own bathroom was huge. Recommended, especially for the price. Thanks, Alessandro.

Alessandra and Sebastiano made us feel welcome, and the place is ideally positioned for exploring eastern Sicily. Everything from the cleanliness and services to the hosts’ warmth and availability was absolutely wonderful. ☀️
