Ostello Breda B&B

I'm staying here for work, and it suits my needs perfectly. The rooms are comfortable, air-conditioned, and welcoming, with service that was impeccable. I'd recommend it to tourists too.

We picked this stay through a Wonderbox package we'd been given, and it made for a wonderful experience. The area is isolated and doesn't have much to offer, but works well as a base for Parma, Mantua, and Cremona. Our triple room was clean and had everything we needed, while the shared kitchen was well equipped and looked after. The manager was incredibly kind when my husband became ill and helped us find a doctor, a real angel. It's mostly known among workers, though tourists shouldn't be overlooked. Thanks again!

We found the hostel with a free Smartbox and needed an extra bed for the two of us. The manager sorted it out straight away for a small extra charge. Our room had loads of space, with a kitchen, a small bathroom, and a large sleeping area. Housekeeping was prompt and standard. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, and pointed us toward interesting sights nearby. A good fit if you're after peace and relaxation.

The friendly welcome, big rooms, and freedom this place gives you are all great. Still, the hygiene and cleanliness need more attention. I'm not trying to leave a negative review, but keeping a room clean is part of looking after it, much like personal hygiene. In 2019, it MUST be excellent, with no excuses. Whether I pay $10 or $100, room cleaning is essential, and the breakfast area needs care too. Wash the cups, clear up the mess, mop the floors, and look after the hotel. As it was, the mess really wasn't nice and took away from the pleasure of staying here.
