The quiet at Villa Priante, with nature all around, was a welcome break from city noise. The sea and beach are a bit of a drive, at least 20 minutes, though agritourisms, pizzerias, and restaurants are closer, so the trade-off felt worthwhile. We loved the spacious master bedroom and its huge terrace, which even had coat racks. The bed and pillows were new and very expensive, and we slept wonderfully. The bathroom was private but outside the room, and had soap, toilet paper, and towels. The tub has a showerhead, though water can spill onto the floor while showering. Putting absorbent cloths around the outside of it would help. The owners made us feel like family and were happy to help with anything. They suggested good, inexpensive places to eat, let us keep our ice cream in the freezer, and asked what we wanted for breakfast. Breakfast choices aside, the view is what first catches you when you get out of the car after parking outside the gate. The sunsets on the way back from the sea are breathtaking.

I won't forget how courteous and helpful the welcome was. The rooms were spacious, lovely, well cared for, and smelled of flowers. The setting is enchanting, with lush greenery, no annoying noise, and an incredible view over the Gulf of Sapri. A fantastic stay, and I'd love to come back. Thanks for everything.

Breakfast was delicious and generous, and Giovanna made it more fun with stories from her life and work. Her tips on restaurants and places to visit were insightful, and chatting with her against that breathtaking view was hard to beat. The property is beautifully kept and sits in a handy spot between Basilicata and Campania. The panorama is delightful, and the whole place makes it easy to find some calm, beauty, and harmony. Giovanna and Antonio are kind, easygoing hosts who are always available to help with requests. The attentive, well-mannered staff adds a familiar feel, almost like being at home. Luciano is friendly too and always ready with useful advice.

We travel a lot, but it's rare to get such a warm welcome and this much attention to detail. We stayed one night in July, and only afterward realized we should have booked longer. The garden is surrounded by greenery and beautifully looked after, with sunflowers and a breathtaking view of Sapri. We had a double room, and the cleanliness was excellent. Even the chandelier was pristine, which says a lot about the rest of the room. When we arrived, two very kind, attentive gentlemen greeted us with fresh juice. Breakfast had coffee or cappuccino, fruit juice, toast, jams, and a delicious croissant from the bakery we chose the night before, in the flavor we wanted. We were pleasantly surprised, and we'll definitely be back.
