That little country escape felt almost too pretty to be real, with a lake, birdsong, and lovely open grounds all around the family farm. The meals were fantastic, especially knowing they make so much of what they serve. We stayed in a deluxe room with a fancy hot tub right in the middle, which was romantic and a lot of fun after our long drive. It's also handy for the airport. We'd happily return, and I'd recommend it as a hidden gem.

So close to Milan and the airport, yet it feels properly rural. The surroundings are fabulous, and the pasta was the best I've ever had. The beef was seasoned perfectly too.

We'd booked ahead for lunch with 20 friends, settled on a set menu, and paid a deposit. The location was fine, but lunch dragged on: we sat down at 12:45 and didn't finish until around 3:45. The portions weren't anything special, and the food was mediocre at best. With house wine, the bill came to an outrageous €48 per person for a meal worth half that, even with inflation and prices in this expensive part of Italy. I won't return or recommend it.

We celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary here. The peaceful, beautiful setting, helpful and friendly staff, and fantastic food made it a lovely stay. The hotel can arrange a taxi with Diego or his brother. Both are accommodating and speak good English, which makes getting around easier. We'd recommend staying here and hope we can come back someday.
