We’ve been coming to BD for six years now, what a find. The food has made our winter sports trip a food holiday too. The Italian cooking is amazing, and it has a great local reputation that I’d agree with. Intermediate skiers will like Marmolada, and the bus goes to Alleghe, a great area for families and beginners. The house wine is lovely as well.

We had dinner here last night with a group of nine and were surprised by how good both the food and service were. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star. In bad weather, I’d strongly recommend spending the 75 euros on a proper dinner at Baita Davich instead of a ski pass.

We came with our two-month-old baby, and every member of staff was welcoming, helpful and understanding. The room was spotless and lovely, with a balcony looking out over the mountains. The restaurant is amazing, with food quality you wouldn’t expect in this location. Staff were friendly and professional, and they really knew how to match the wine with the meal. Five out of five, no question!
