Casa del Mandorlo

The scenery was spectacular, and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. We were six people staying there in September 21, and had an absolute blast. Already looking forward to another visit.

The house could use a more thorough clean. We found hair in the showers, dirty and stained covers on the sofa and chairs, and dishes in the kitchen that were very dirty, so we had to clean the bathrooms as soon as we arrived. Inside, the three bedrooms are spacious but dated, and both bathrooms, one small and one larger, are old too. The kitchen was a bit cold. There’s also a bedroom reached from outside, with its own bathroom. We stayed here with a group of eight for New Year’s Eve 2021. The outdoor area is lovely and roomy for barbecues and meals, and there’s a pool, though it was closed for the season.

There’s plenty to do around this lovely farmhouse, and the price feels fair for what’s provided. I spent a week here and can’t wait to come back. It was clean and had every comfort.

The owner was always easy to reach, and the house felt clean and welcoming. I had a fantastic weekend just outside Rome and will be back for sure.
