Breakfast was the highlight for me. It was prepared individually on the porch, with every guest at their own table overlooking the valley and the Grosseto hills. The table was full of delicious things, almost all made by them with local ingredients, and it was a treat to look at as well as eat. Federica and her mother run the farmhouse with care. The place is clean and has enough room for a comfortable stay, with everything you need. From the moment you arrive, the welcoming feel and attention to detail make it easy to feel at home. It’s set in a quiet, restorative landscape, away from the weekday rush, with nature all around.

The room was clean and well looked after, and Federica and Loretta were warm, attentive hosts. They were happy to suggest places to visit and eat, and the breakfast they made was easily five-star. A peaceful and welcoming spot near the Mulino waterfalls and the sea. Well worth a visit.

We first picked this place because the price seemed reasonable for our weekend at the Terme di Saturnia, but it turned out to be a lovely base for the area. It’s in a picturesque hilly setting with a beautiful view, just 7-8 km from the spa and handy for visiting nearby towns. There are a few short unpaved stretches on the way, though the road is well traveled and easy enough to manage. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and were extremely kind. Our room was clean and inviting, and breakfast stood out, especially the owner’s cake and tasty ricotta. The products were local and artisanal. We’ll definitely return. Great value for money.

We had a really relaxing holiday at charming Podere Micitto in the Tuscan countryside. The hospitality was excellent, and breakfast was made with local, natural products. The fig jam was delicious. The Saturnia thermal springs are about ten minutes away.
