La Piramide

The beds were really comfortable, and dinner was a highlight. Everything was made with fresh ingredients and cooked well, especially the pasta alla norma and Sicilian cutlet, which were incredible. We stayed three nights with our school group. The accommodation was what you'd expect for the hotel's category, but Mr. Cosimo and the whole team made the stay much easier. They were always courteous and patient, and paid attention to the little things while helping with our needs and any unexpected hiccups. Thanks for looking after us so well and for your professionalism.

Mr. Cosimo and his team were kind, patient, and ready to sort out any problems during our two-night stay with a school group. The hotel itself was about average for its category. Dinner was good and made with fresh ingredients, and Mrs. Lia treated us to some excellent traditional cooking. Thanks for the hospitality.

We couldn't get a decent night's sleep because of noise from the neighborhood and the hotel early in the morning. We were also told to return by 2:15 a.m., since the caretaker's shift would be over and we'd be locked out. When my son hurt himself, I asked for some ice before we left, but they didn't have any. The room was dirty and smelled like smoke. One electrical outlet was hanging loose and seemed dangerous, and the outlets didn't look up to standard. There was an old bottle of juice in the guest refrigerator, which was completely unacceptable. In the bathroom, the bin lid was broken and it was packed with caked-on dust. There was limescale everywhere, and the toilet was wedged sideways against the wall, with a loose seat that kept slipping. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed here a few days ago with another class, and it was better than the reviews made it sound. There were lots of ants in our room, but otherwise things were acceptable for a three-star hotel. The food wasn't as bad as people say either. Dinner and breakfast were both good, and some other things got better after complaints were made. The hotel has potential, and I hope it can get back on track. The location is a letdown, though.
