Sunset Villa

The staff were consistently warm and helpful, and they really made the difference. They even booked us a table at a nearby restaurant and ran an evening shuttle there. We also had a quick lunch and excellent focaccia at the neighboring hotel's beach bar. There isn't a kitchen, so breakfast was good, but I gave the service four stars. You can order delivery from a nearby restaurant and eat wherever you like. This feels like a peaceful oasis in this part of Tuscany, away from crowded places, even resorts. The property sits right by the beach, with pleasant Mediterranean scrub separating it from the coast. It has just 10 rooms, so even when full it feels almost private. There's convenient parking in front of the pine forest, then a shuttle takes you down a private road to the hotel. The grounds are well presented, with original furnishings. I tried two rooms, and appreciate the staff's courtesy in letting me do so. The large detached chalet room had no sea view, but a lovely patio for privacy. The smaller sea-view room was equally beautiful, with a fantastic outlook. Both rooms were very well maintained. The bathrooms were comfortable and nicely appointed, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. In the evenings we slept with the window open and listened to the sea. The little pool is thoughtfully designed for relaxing, though the shower could be better placed. The beach is separate from the neighboring hotel, and the loungers are comfortable and wider than standard ones. Still, being in a larger setting takes away a little from the sense of calm. I'd add giant cushions facing the sea and give the private area more space. It's their first season, and I think next year will be even better. A few more small details could make this place second to none. We'll definitely return.

For anyone who likes seclusion, the location is a dream: a completely private setting right on the beach. The service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly. Matteo was especially great with helpful tips and recommendations. The ground-floor rooms are on the small side, but very well appointed.

We only got to spend one night here, unfortunately. It's a lovely new property in a private park right on the beach, with just a few rooms, which makes it feel so welcoming. Michele, Matteo, and the rest of the staff were always available and gave five-star service, making sure guests were happy. Fantastic!

Right beside the beach, with free loungers, a great breakfast, and really friendly staff. Couldn't ask for more. You can even drive a golf cart :-) The owner came over to introduce herself when we left and seemed genuinely interested.
