There’s a lovely sandy beach just a two-minute walk away. The private section belongs to the property and is gated, with entry by wristband; there’s also a free area with no umbrellas or chairs. Cold showers are free, but hot ones cost extra, and the beach bar was handy. Check the website for beach prices. The pool and beach were both very good, and bikes and e-bikes were available from €10 a day. The on-site grocery shop was convenient and had almost everything we needed. Restaurants were good but a bit pricey. Communication was a little tricky because most staff didn’t speak much of other languages and assumed I knew Italiano, but everyone was cheerful, friendly, and courteous. At check-in, Massimo was helpful and explained the map clearly. The process was to park at the desk, get the wristband, drive to the bungalow to unload, then leave again and park overnight in the designated lot. There was a €100 security deposit and a €2 per night city tax. The Design Bungalow matched the photos and was in excellent condition, with kitchen utensils, towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows, but no toiletries or kitchen cleaning supplies. The layout and amenities were great, and I highly recommend it.
