They canceled my booking, saying there was “a problem with the system.” I suspect it was so they could charge more for the room. I’ll stay away from this hotel. Who knows what other problems might come up.

Families with young children should find this place pleasant, with a garden inside that has games, traditional food, and good cleanliness. Parking is in a lemon grove, and the village is less than two kilometers away on foot. Cross the road and train tracks and you’re at the beach. The sea is clean, although the shallow, sandy seabed makes it hard to see how clear the water is.

We arrived with low expectations, a bit skeptical after seeing other hotels advertised so heavily, but were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay. The hospitality felt family-like, and the staff were courteous and helpful. Watching countless sunrises and sunsets over the sea was hard to beat. We also loved discovering the hidden garden, full of plants, flowers, fruit, and all kinds of scents, with games for children too. The highlight was trying Titino’s legendary cooking. He’s a reserved, talented man who turns simple ingredients into something stellar, as Barbieri says, “worth the trip.”
