More than anything, it's Loretta who makes you feel at home in Rome. I'm writing this from the kitchen while relaxing and eating a Tiramisu ❤ So far, the stay has been lovely. My room has an ensuite bathroom and a big window. It's not soundproof, but I'm used to that in Paris, so.... The bed is two twin beds pushed together, on the firm side but comfortable. The AC is good. Wi-Fi was good enough for important work meetings, though I got disconnected twice. For a first visit, I couldn't have chosen a better location. The Coliseum is a 14-minute walk for me, and I walk slowly lol. The neighborhood is nice and lively, but you're in the city center with restaurants and a road all around. I'm used to it, but it may not suit everyone. Loretta is such a warm, welcoming lady! Will edit more at the end of my stay.

A clean, nice bed and breakfast apartment really close to visitor attractions. It's a great fit if you're planning to spend most of the day out and only a few hours at the hotel.

Lorella made us feel welcome right away, sharing tips on places to go, metro stops and restaurants, and even offering breakfast one morning. She gave us plenty of privacy, too. The room was roomy, though you could hear the busy street, but it didn't keep us from sleeping. The bathroom was small and consistently clean. The apartment is on a central Rome street, near two pharmacies, a tobacco shop, bars and restaurants, with Vittorio Emanuele metro nearby and the Colosseum about 10 minutes away. We made do with the shared bathrooms and had four lovely days in Rome. The location, Lorella's kindness and the cleanliness made it worth staying.
