The stairs may be an issue if you don't like climbing: there's a steep flight inside the front door leading to the living room, then a small spiral staircase up to the second-level loft. At night we heard people walking and talking, and motorbikes starting in the parking lot just outside. On the plus side, the host communicated well and let us store our bags at the property after 10 AM while waiting for our 3 PM check-in. The location was excellent, the air conditioning handled the hot Rome days well, and the place was clean and well maintained. We'd stay again.

Evenings were quiet for us in Trastevere, despite the area having plenty of good bars and restaurants. From this lovely apartment, we walked to the Pantheon in 12 minutes, then continued to Rome's beautiful monuments and enjoyed the views. My husband and I found the location excellent.
