A Home in Rome

A convenient spot close to the center, in an area that isn't too noisy or crowded.

The location is handy, right by a metro station and close to Roma Termini, one metro stop away or about a 10-15 minute walk. The mattresses were good and the bed was clean. Towels were changed every two days, and there was a hairdryer in the bathroom and spare toilet paper in the hallway. We could hear people in the neighboring rooms, though. Getting into the building was frustrating. The instructions sent through Booking said to call a specific number to open the gate, but the process didn't work. Luckily, another guest arrived and let us in. Our room keys were waiting at the door. Breakfast ran from 08:30 to 10:00, and we were told check-in had to happen during that time too. That didn't work for us because we left early for the city and came back late. We messaged the accommodation's contact number but got no reply there. They answered through the Booking app the next day and offered check-in at 06:00 am, which didn't suit us either, so we had to wait until 08:30 in the morning.

The location is excellent, with the subway only steps away. Our room was clean and came with a fridge, kettle and bottle of water. Breakfast was generous, and the owner was always ready to serve it. The owners are super available whenever you need something. We'll definitely be back!

The staff took great care of us, especially the woman handling breakfast and cleaning, who deserves a big thank you. The hotel was very clean and close to Termini. We had a very good stay. Thank you 🤩
