Adagio City Aparthotel Roma Dehon

The people here were friendly and helpful, and the price for what you get is very good. The hotel isn’t really a 4*, but it’s a good place to stay. The grounds are green and quiet, with trees and birds singing. Our room was a little old-fashioned, but it was cleaned perfectly every day. The breakfast buffet was very good. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, though you can find a few good, friendly places within walking distance. It’s about a 35-minute walk southwest of the vatican-city, or around 15 minutes by taxi to Castillo S´Angelo, which cost approximately 15-20€. From there, you can start exploring central Rome.

We’re disappointed by the hotel’s general standard and the state of our room. It’s dirty, and the towels have an unpleasant smell. The breakfast buffet was a letdown too, nowhere near what we expected from a 4-star hotel. Please either clean the room properly or move us to another one, and replace the towels right away. We’d also like a partial refund or some other compensation for the poor quality and inconvenience. We hope this can be sorted out quickly.

Our group of 30 had a hard time getting help from the dining staff when we needed accommodations, including during some medical emergencies. We had to plead our case repeatedly, and they seemed reluctant and unhappy to assist. That wasn’t the kind of service we hoped for. The WiFi was also supposedly available, but it never worked during our six-day stay, even though we were told it would be fixed.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and we felt really comfortable at the hotel. Maria and Emily at reception were friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar staff were welcoming and ready to help too.
