Adelaide Suite Dreams

The location is great for getting around, but that was the only good part of our stay. The rooms were much smaller than the online photos suggested, musty, and had mold in the shower, flies, and other bugs. I found many bugs behind the curtains, and my wife was bitten. We had the same problems in both rooms: the first was small, and the second was only slightly larger, with barely enough room to move. There weren’t any tissues, even though the box was by the bed, and housekeeping could have refilled it while cleaning. I’d booked a double bed and messaged to confirm, but they gave us twin beds. They said they never received my message, though WhatsApp showed a read receipt. No one was available to help with amenities or anything else before 9am or after 9pm. I’ve never left a bad hotel review before, but this was a horrible experience.

It felt uncomfortable and sketchy, and the setup didn’t seem suitable for families. There are only six rooms, reached by an old elevator that looked more than 100 years old. The place was far from what we expected, so we asked to cancel, but they refused. We left and booked another hotel at the last minute, spending a significant amount of money to get out of the situation.

The rooms were clean and the location was nice. Breakfast was just snacks, with nothing cooked, and the elevator was old.

The receptionist was lovely and made us feel at home. Our room was modern and comfortable, and the location was great, near the center and all the shops.
