The owner was really helpful, and the place felt worth the price. We could’ve stayed longer than one night. It’s in an 18th-century building beside San Giovanni metro Station, about 15 minutes from colosseo. The hotel is on the third floor, reached by a very tight elevator, and the inside looks quite new and modern. Breakfast comes as vouchers for bars on the street, though we didn’t try it because we left very early. The toilet flush sometimes gave trouble, and a technician was due to fix it a few days after our visit. The air conditioning was loud and annoying when on. Also, the double bed was two beds pushed together, and one sometimes slid away from the other.

The manager clearly cares about the place and was very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and lovely, and the center is only a few minutes away on foot. For the more than reasonable price, the service and location make it a good deal. I’d recommend it if you want a nice room at a good price within easy reach of Rome.
