Antico Glicine Roma

Zero stars. The place was clean, but the service was awful. We’d booked five months ahead, and had agreed and confirmed the day before arrival that we could leave our bags after checkout so we could explore Rome without dragging a trolley around. But the owner had one fewer bed than we’d booked. After we asked several times, she sent a camp bed while we were out at dinner, then left a message saying we had to leave the room at 10:00 a.m. the next day with our bags. The so-called breakfast was just a discount coupon for a cappuccino and croissant at a nearby café. You couldn’t choose any of the croissants on display, only a particular type. If, like us, those covered by the coupon had run out, you had to pay for breakfast. The café wasn’t good, the service was terrible, and it was always packed. I don’t recommend this B&B because of the rudeness and dishonesty we experienced.
