Apt Re Di Roma

The owner was very friendly and met us at the property. He explained how everything worked and gave us tips on getting around and when it might be better to visit certain places. The apartment also had the utensils needed for self-catering. It was handy for getting around: a 3-minute walk from Re di Roma tube station on the red metro line, three stops from Termini train station, and about a 20-minute walk to the Colosseum. It's a one-bedroom apartment with a proper double bed and a sofabed in the sitting room. We were a family of four visiting Rome for several days and booked through Booking.com. Unfortunately, it was unclean. There was dust and hair tangled under the bed, a hole in the dark-colored duvet from a cigarette, curtains that needed ironing, and small sofa pillows that seemed never to have been washed. The sitting room sofabed was uncomfortable and noisy to sleep on, and there was a patch of black mold on the ceiling, described as very dangerous. Luckily, we only used the apartment for sleeping, but otherwise it would have been a total turnoff. Honestly, we wouldn't choose it again.
