We barely slept. The neighbors shouted and ran around their apartment all night, with screaming and very loud music coming from outside every night, weekdays included. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone hoping for a quiet night or traveling with children. The kitchen was in awful shape too: no accessories, a broken fridge, no frying pan, and just one small pot without a lid. Things were falling apart. Absolutely horrible.

The apartment may look modern and recently renovated, but it wasn't somewhere I could relax unless I arrived when the bars were closing. Noise came from all around Trastevere, plus the pizzeria next door's smoke vents in the main bedroom. The air conditioning wouldn't work, and it was cold. The towels should be taken out of use, and the pillows looked like they hadn't been washed in decades. The main bed's spring mattress dug into me, and the mattress in the other room was on the floor. That room was reached by climbing another flight of stairs. There are steps inside the apartment, and getting back down was especially tricky. A cushion had been fixed there to help prevent a fall, but you could still get a nasty bump if you weren't careful. Outside, the entrance door was where all the drunks from Trastevere sat, with garbage bags always piled nearby. The entrance hadn't been cleaned in ages, and the three flights of stairs up were uneven and worn. The place was so noisy that nobody seemed to use the living room.

The owner kept in touch throughout our visit and even offered us a late checkout. The apartment was in great shape, very well equipped and carefully looked after. I loved staying in Trastevere, one of my favorite parts of Rome.

I stayed here with my parents, my brother and my fiancée. The apartment was excellent, with great facilities and a perfect location in a bohemian neighborhood of Rome. Restaurants, cafés, bars and all the city's sights were close by. Perfect!
