The location was nice, and the room was pretty good. What stood out was how clean it was: we got fresh, clean towels every day.

I liked being able to check in early, and the woman who cleaned the room was nice and came every day. But the room felt like a cheap motel: it was cold, damp, and smelled bad, especially near the toilet. The window was tiny and almost completely blocked from the outside, so there was barely any natural light. We could hear everything from reception and the street, as if somebody else were in the room. For this price, you can find a much nicer room in Rome. After I left an honest review on booking, they sent us an insulting message on WhatsApp. That was really unprofessional.

The reception guy helped us a lot. We could leave our bags there both before check-in and after our stay, which was really convenient. The room was comfortable, and it’s in a great spot with the main attractions close by. There’s also a good pizza place just around the corner. We’ll definitely come back!

We spent three very pleasant days at Azzurra Rooms. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well enough for us to sleep comfortably. The location is ideal, near the station on a small dead-end street that’s handy for parking a scooter. Outside noise was blocked really well. There’s free coffee and a shared space, which were nice extras. The management was always around and available, which felt reassuring while visiting.
